The Florist Office

The consulting wing of Borea Systems — and the floor that funds the commons. We map where organizations leak time, money, and dignity, then build the infrastructure that restores flow. Intake-to-resolution pipelines, governance architectures, field coordination systems. We do not offer advice. We engineer flow.

WING-02.1 — Practice Verticals

Where we operate.

SIX VERTICALS · ONE METHOD
PRIMARY · V-01

Mediation & Resolution Services

Mediators are trained to settle disputes — not to build intake pipelines, run shuttle diplomacy across parties, or monitor agreements. We build that machinery: intake-to-assessment workflow, shuttle coordination, execution documentation, post-agreement monitoring.

PRIMARY · V-02

Property Management

At 20 units you know every tenant; at 100, renewals go reactive and requests disappear. Maintenance ticketing and vendor dispatch, tenant retention systems, 90/60/30-day renewal protocols, delinquency resolution workflow.

PRIMARY · V-03

Real Estate Teams

Lead volume and headcount rise; the handoff between "lead enters" and "agent closes" develops friction. Lead capture → CRM → assignment → first contact, transaction coordination, agent ramp, referral loops.

PRIMARY · V-04

Law Firms

Small firms leak 10–15% of potential revenue between "phone rings" and "matter opened." Intake → conflict check → retainer → matter opening, deadline tracking, billing hygiene, capacity planning against attorney bandwidth.

PRIMARY · V-05

Political & Civic Field Operations

Field scales faster than coordination. Volunteer recruit → training → turf → contact → data; voter-contact program design across door, phone, mail, and digital; ballot-measure field architecture; campaign-as-a-service infrastructure.

SECONDARY · V-06

Small Business Operations

The business grew; the founder is still fixing the same three problems every week. Customer request → assignment → execution → billing → follow-up; staff accountability rhythms; scaling-readiness assessment.

WING-02.2 — The Scientific Basis

Institutions are flow systems.

CONSTRUCTAL-THERMODYNAMIC VIEW OF ORGANIZATIONS

Customers, capital, information, talent, and decisions flow through an organization continuously. Where the architecture is misaligned, friction accumulates; where it is optimized, access improves. Three instruments govern every diagnostic:

InstrumentDefinition
CFEConstructal Flow Efficiency. Useful institutional output per unit of total input — measured across cognition (decision velocity), resource (capital allocation), governance (coordination quality), and dignity (human-capital retention).
EREntropic Resistance. The sum of frictions, redundancies, bottlenecks, and coordination failures that dissipate capacity without measurable outcome. ER is the diagnostic target.
ASCAdiabatic Stability. The capacity to hold core function under shock — volatility, turnover, demand spikes, regulatory change. High-ASC systems absorb and reconfigure; low-ASC systems break.

Standing Frameworks

  • Theory of Constraints. One binding constraint at a time; everything subordinates to it.
  • Complex Adaptive Systems. Interventions pilot, review at midpoint, and adjust — paper-optimal designs fail in contact with real agents.
  • Behavioral Operations. Designs account for how humans actually decide: biases, status, motivation, social dynamics.

Deep Instrumentation

Underlying the diagnostics is the Unified Systems Theory of Human Ecology (UST-HE) and the Institutional Rating / Resilience Theory (IRT v2.0) — spectral analysis, network topology, and regime classification that turn qualitative observation into quantitative intervention priority.

The technical depth is reserved for clients who specifically value it. Every deliverable is translated into operator language.

WING-02.3 — Engagement Instruments

Priced like instruments,
not like hours.

ALL ENGAGEMENTS REQUIRE A 30-MINUTE OPERATIONAL ASSESSMENT
InstrumentScopeTerms
DIAG Operational Diagnostic. 90-minute deep-dive audit of the intake-to-close pipeline; every handoff mapped; the three biggest leaks identified; 5-page friction map; 30-day priority roadmap; vertical-specific benchmarks. $1,500 — 50% credited toward first retainer if engaged within 30 days.
ADV Advisory Retainer. Strategic counsel through institutional transition: 8 hrs/month, weekly 60-minute strategy call, process audit and friction mapping, light institutional diagnostic, direct access in business hours, monthly performance report. Priced on scope. Midpoint risk reversal applies.
OPR Operator Retainer. Full pipeline architecture and redesign for organizations in operational chaos or scaling pain: 20 hrs/month, everything in Advisory, SOP documentation and implementation, team workflow optimization, CRM / tech-stack configuration, weekly tactical sessions. Priced on scope. We build, train, hand off — no permanent dependency.
PRJ Project-Based & Specialized. Intelligence Assessments ($3,500–$8,500) · Campaign Infrastructure ($5,000–$15,000) · Delinquency Resolution Program Design ($3,500–$8,500) · Mediation Operations Build-Outs. Scoped in writing before signature.
WING-02.4 — The Gray Funnel

Scout. Assessor. Operator.

OFFER ONCE — DO NOT LOBBY

S1 — The Scout

We research your vertical, identify the likely friction points, and reach out with a specific observation — never a generic pitch. Decision-makers qualified, pain signals confirmed, assessment booked.

S2 — The Assessor

A 30-minute Operational Assessment: you walk us through the pipeline; we map the handoffs, identify the constraint, and quantify the cost. Then a clean close — the $1,500 Diagnostic, or direct engagement where pain is acute and budget confirmed.

S3 — The Operator

We build the workflow, write the SOPs, configure the systems, and train your staff. Then we hand off. Documented capability that persists after we leave.

WING-02.5 — Standing Clauses

Terms that bind us first.

The Risk Reversal

If you are not satisfied at the midpoint of any advisory engagement, you may terminate with pro-rata payment for work completed. We do not hold clients hostage to process.

The No-Complicity Clause

Every engagement is evaluated against the Declaration of the Commons. If your operation requires systems that commodify persons, deceive stakeholders, or systematically erode the dignity of any party, we decline — regardless of fee.
